[NEWS]PS3MFW: Projet de créateur de CFW : News - PS3-Infos

PS3MFW c'est un projet d'outil permettant la création automatisée de Custom Firmware PS3 (ou CFW), également appelé Mod Firmware ou MFW. Cet outil permettra de choisir chaque modification à effectuer au firmware pour ainsi faire son propre firmware avec les options que l'on souhaite.
L'outil sera compatible tout firmware jusqu'en 3.55 (et donc pas 3.56).

L'équipe créatrice du projet est composée du célèbre KaKaRoTo ainsi que d'an0nym0us.

Voici ce que l'application permet de modifier dans le firmware :

Options:
Show verbose debugging information
Disable log output
Custom PUP build version
If set, overrides the entire PUP version string
Prefix to add to the PUP version string
Suffix to add to the PUP version string

Tasks:
Add new icons to the XMB Game category
Patch LV1 Hypervisor
Patch package installer to allow installation of unsigned .pkg
Patch the Application launcher to allow running of unsigned application
Add a custom message to the "New Features" installation screen
Clean unwanted icons from the XMB Photo Category
Clean unwanted icons from the XMB Music Category
Clean unwanted icons from the XMB Video Category
Clean unwanted icons from the XMB Game Category
Clean unwanted icons from the XMB Network Category
Clean unwanted icons from the XMB Playstation Network Category
Clean unwanted icons from the XMB Friends Category
Remove "BD Data Utility" icon from the XMB Video Category
Remove "Search for Media Servers" icon from the XMB Video Category
Remove "Network Media Servers" icon from the XMB Video Category
Remove "Video Editor & Uploader" icon from the XMB Video Category
Remove "Netflix" icon from the XMB Video Category
Remove "PlayStation Store" icon from the XMB Video Category

Nous pouvons ainsi souligner que il y a des options pour permettre l'installation de pkg non signés. Nous ne savons pas si ça permettra d'utiliser peek&poke pour des backups managers.
La ligne "patch LV1 Hypervisor" pourrait éventuellement indiquer le support de disques externes en format autre que FAT32 ...
